Cleaning Bucket Drive
With all of the recent flooding throughout the US, we are in need of more cleaning supply buckets. These supplies enable people to begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up after a flood or hurricane.  UMCOR is the United Methodist Committee On Relief and they are working with the nationwide disaster relief organizations and other area churches and civic organizations to reach a common goal.  Connecting Gods resources with Human  needs.
Their shelves are bare and there are many more people in need.  The satellite hubs around the nation have all been tasked with gathering the necessary supplies in order to assemble more cleaning buckets.  Our nearest hub is Seymour United Methodist Church and we need to drop off our supplies and any buckets that we’ve assembled, no later than September 30th.
There will be a list of the necessary supplies needed on our HUMC website http://www.umcor.org/UMCOR/Relief-Supplies/Relief-Supply-Kits/Cleaning as well as in Bovee Hall.  If you don’t have the time to purchase any of the items, you may also make a monetary donation so that the items may be purchased.  If you are interested in helping out, please contact Tony Gasbarro at 203-747-1369 or anthonygasbarro@yahoo.com
