The Rev. Inkoo Chung grew up in the Methodist church. His grandfather and father were both served Methodist church. When he was fourteen years old, his family moved to Argentina where his father was called to work as a missionary. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Theological School in Argentina. He also received a Master of Divinity Degree from Drew University in New Jersey in 2003. Currently, he is doing Doctor of Ministry Program (Area of Concentration: “Congregational growth and Community Development")
at Drew University.
He has served several churches in NY Annual Conference. (First UMC in Flushing, NY; North Canton Community UMC, CT; UMC of Patchogue, NY; Ossining UMC and Peekskill UMC, NY)
He is married and has a son, Minho which means “Hope of people”.
His favorite bible verse is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
